You know when they say Good things come to those who wait? Well, it is becoming true for the new layout on word-grabber.com. After a three weeks test drive on the German version of word-grabber.com I am finally satisfied with the feedback and results to bring it online on word-grabber.com on next Monday.
What’s new in the new layout?
With the new layout I said goodbye to the close relationship with Scrabble that was expressed mostly with the colors of the theme. As you noticed we shifted the focus also to other word games like Words With Friends or Wordfeud and our articles on word games are becoming more and more popular.
The growing number of word tools and articles needed more space and I am happy that the new multi level navigation will solve this problem and help you finding your desired content even faster. Usability is a huge issue I wanted to solve with the upcoming layout. Therefore, you will find a quick search form directly on the front page.
Testing, testing …
The new theme is depeloped completely new. Fortunately, I was able to capture a lot of bugs in the test drive an my local machine. Anyway, I see a lot of follow up tests during the weekend.
There will be a detailed article on the changes I made on next Monday, but so far I only wanted to tell you in advance, so you are not wondering when visiting word-grabber.com on Monday. There will also be a quick feedback form and I know some of you are going to use it and help me to find bugs and improve the site even more. Thank you for that!
